Cocodrie Outfitters is proudly based at Coco Marina in Cocodrie, Louisiana, one of the Gulf Coast’s premier fishing destinations. Depending on the season, anglers can target a variety of sought-after species, including speckled trout, redfish, and trophy redfish, which provide excellent fishing opportunities throughout much of the year. For those seeking the ultimate challenge, tarpon trips are available during August and September out of Venice, Louisiana. With over 30 years of local fishing experience, our captains know where the fish are and how to put you on them.

Do I need a fishing license?

All anglers ages 18 and older are responsible for obtaining a valid Louisiana fishing license prior to their trip. Licenses can be purchased through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, including convenient 3-day saltwater licenses for visiting anglers.

What do I need for Alligator Hunting?

All you need to bring is a valid Louisiana alligator hunting license , along with weather-appropriate clothing, snacks, drinks, and a camera to capture the experience.
